Requirements:
Qualifications/Education/Experience
<ul>
<li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li>
<li>Must have a valid Food Handler Card and RBS certification as a pre-requisite to being extended a job offer and maintain valid certifications throughout the course of employment</li>
<li>Must successfully complete Title 31 training within the first 90 days of employment</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain and retain a valid Gaming License from Augustine Gaming Commission</li>
<li>1-2 years of experience working as a beverage server or food server in a high-volume restaurant, bar or casino is preferred</li>
<li>Bi-lingual in Spanish is highly preferred</li>
<li>Basic math skills is required</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills is required</li>
<li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills is required</li>
<li>Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays</li>
<li>Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time</li>

Position Summary:
This position requires individuals who are skilled in both supporting management operations and leading diverse teams. In the role of Assistant Team Leader, you'll aid the convenience store manager in all aspects of the store's operations—a responsibility you'll prepare for through a training sequence that teaches you our in-store retail information system, inventory management and ordering technology.
You will be responsible for tasks such as completing daily paperwork, troubleshooting car wash problems and addressing problems with gas pumps. Leadership duties include, but are not limited to, forecasting, ordering, stocking, merchandising, being a role-model for prompt and courteous customer service and sharing management responsibilities with the store manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

<li>Training and coaching new store staff</li>
<li>Assisting in creating schedules in a time keeping system</li>
<li>Stocking products on shelves and making sure the store always looks clean and professional</li>
<li>Forecasting, order, stock, and merchandise products</li>
<li>Ensuring prompt reconciliation of store paperwork</li>
<li>Ensuring prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff</li>
<li>Maintaining a clean, customer friendly environment in the store and surrounding property</li>
<li>Assisting with management of store staff</li>
<li>Troubleshooting and resolving car wash related issues</li>

Requirements and Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:
The Assistant Team Leader position requires constant standing, bending, and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity. Frequent lifting of 1 to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40-50 pounds are required.
