Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Deliver direct implementation of ABA services under the direction of a Supervisor/BCBA.</li>
<li>Collect data on goals throughout the session as set forth in the treatment plan.</li>
<li>Work in various settings, including home, community, school, clinic, or other assigned locations, with individuals with autism or related disabilities.</li>
<li>Address problem behaviors using positive behavior support techniques developed by a Supervisor and BCBA.</li>
<li>Assist with caregiver support and training as needed.</li>
<li>Arrive on time for scheduled sessions and end sessions punctually.</li>
<li>Submit timecards and complete clinical notes for each session on time per company policy.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Supervisors and BCBAs.</li>
<li>Follow all ethical standards related to ABA service delivery and adhere to company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Assist with new hire training by providing overlaps and shadowing opportunities.</li>

Qualifications and Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
<ul>
<li>Preferred Education: Currently enrolled in college or has completed some college coursework.</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience: Minimum of 6 months of work experience or exposure to individuals with disabilities (direct job experience preferred but not required).</li>
<li>Availability: At least 15 hours available during afternoons and evenings. Sessions typically occur between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm but may vary.</li>
<li>Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.</li>
<li>Transportation: Must have a valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance (compensation provided for travel time).</li>

POSITION DESCRIPTION: School Site Therapists The therapists will work directly with the Executive Director, their Clinical Director and the School-Based Program Coordinator. As a member of a clinical team, he/she will work in tandem with school personnel when appropriate to improve the behavioral and emotional well-being of the students they are serving. Therapists will provide services in schools, and rural communities, and in any other organizational environment of the Coachella Valley Unified School District system. They may design and deliver educational programs for community constituencies as well.
Minimum Job Qualifications: Personnel must have a Master’s or higher level of education, and be registered as an Associate or licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Clinical Counselor, or Clinical Social Worker. Master’s level professional Practicum Student (i.e. Trainees as an MFT, PCC, or CSW) are under the supervision of an LCSW. • Provide social and emotional support to students both individually and in groups. • Provide classroom-based counseling and make clinical observations of students in the classroom.
