Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Special Education laws and regulations
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong understanding ofSpecial Education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Leadership qualities and a desire for longevity within the role

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create and execute IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Provide district-wide support across the East Region
• Manage a manageable caseload, ensuring personalized attention to each student
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies

Location:

• Based in Desert Hot Springs, CA, serving the East Region from Joshua Tree to Twenty-nine Palms.
