Job DescriptionPart-time Spa Attendant
JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for cleanliness, stocking and supply maintenance of all Spa areas as directed. Responsible for guest reception and assistance in locker, gym, and pool areas. Responsible for maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Guest Related Tasks:
- Stocking Spa and Fitness Center with necessary items to ensure the comfort, safety and convenience of guests. Items to include:
a. fresh linen
b. flowers
c. fruit
d. water
e. ice
f. iced tea
g. water
h. utensils
- Stock amenities and toiletries in bathrooms, locker rooms, treatment rooms and steam and sauna areas and shower.
- Place clean robes and slippers in lockers.
- Clean tables outside the spa.
- Clean sun decks.
- Clean chrome at entrance
- Responsible for cleanliness of Spa and Fitness Center during business hours
- Responsible for reporting issues regarding spa cleaning to Assistant Commodore.
- Maintain accurate records of linen deliveries and collections and fold all linen received in the Spa in accordance with standards and procedures as directed by management.
- Maintain accurate records of all Spa amenities, housekeeping supplies and robes. Inform Spa Commodore in a timely manner with regard to par in order to prevent any inconvenience to guests and Spa associates.
- Assist Consultants in escorting guests to Spa treatment area and lockers
- Provide specific information regarding the facilities to all guests
- Assist Spa Commodore and/or Assistant Commodore with inventory control, to include, but not limited to:
a. monthly and annual inventory procedures
b. cost effectiveness in the use of all supplies
c. usage of all housekeeping and spa supplies as related to your job description.
- Maintain clean, safe and orderly workspace.
- Maintain cleanliness and neatness throughout shift.
- Inspect and maintain pristine aesthetic appearance of Spa facilities, Fitness Center and treatment rooms, such as windows, mirrors, brass etc.
- Report any maintenance issues to Engineering and safety issues to management.
- Assist receptionists in keeping accurate records of lockers, robes and sandals.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all spa features/services, hours of operation, promotions, VIP guests and group/events in-house.
20. Ensure the privacy and security of the guests at all times.
21. Maintain a clean, neat, attractive appearance all the time. This to include the cleanliness of uniforms, a neatly groomed appearance and professional demeanor.
