Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders among students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet diverse student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services through both in-person and teletherapy modalities.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and external specialists to create cohesive support plans.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Offer guidance and resources to students and their families to promote communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Active California Teaching Credential (CTC) or in pending status as of 5/1/2025.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting.
- Proficiency in teletherapy practices is highly desirable.
