Position: HERS Rater (Certified or Willing to Train)
Are you a HERS Rater or eager to become one? Whether you’re already certified or ready to dive into a rewarding new career, we want to hear from you! ARCXIS is hiring HERS Raters to perform HVAC testing based on Title 24 guidelines. We provide top-tier training for the right candidates, so if you're ready to learn, we’re ready to help you grow!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform HERS tests on HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Drive within a 60-mile radius or more to job sites (car allowance and fuel card provided).
- Submit detailed inspection reports via computer or smartphone.
- Ensure all work is completed with precision, integrity, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Climb ladders, work in attics/crawlspaces, and handle equipment up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:
- HERS Certification or willingness to become certified.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in varying conditions (hot, cold, cramped spaces).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Familiarity with computers or smartphones for submitting reports.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in HVAC, plumbing, attic work, insulation, or related fields.
- Ability to study and pass exams related to HVAC testing and Title 24 standards.
