Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in-person or via teletherapy, ensuring engagement and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with educational standards.
  • Offer training and resources to school staff regarding speech and language development.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLP-CCC licensure
  • Active California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) (or pending as of 5/1/2025)
  • Fingerprints required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically in a school setting.
  • Proficient in teletherapy practices and tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with a preference for Spanish speakers.

Location:

  • Palm Springs, CA (positions available in-person and via teletherapy).

This contract position runs from August 6, 2025, to June 5, 2026, with multiple caseloads available.
