Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist (New Grads Accepted) - La Quinta, CA

Job Type: Full Time

Shift: Monday- Friday(8:00 am-6:00pm)

Facility: Outpatient

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
Develop and implement effective treatment programs.
Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to help patients achieve maximum benefit from therapeutic services
Provide consultation to patients and patients' families about the results of testing and recommended treatment options.
Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.
Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.
Delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate.
Supervise speech-language pathology assistant(s).

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Speech
Licensed in California
CCC in Speech Pathology (preferred)
Must have reliable transportation and auto insurance and be willing to drive to various work sites (paid drive time & mileage).
Must be willing to work evening hours a few days of the week to meet patient needs
Background in working with children with challenging behaviors (preferred)
