Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking to make a meaningful impact during the 20252026 school year in Palm Desert, CA. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to support K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities in a dynamic educational setting.

Responsibilities include providing speech-language therapy services tailored to a specific caseload, which will be determined based on the needs of the school(s). The role requires onsite work, delivering direct interventions, conducting assessments, and collaborating closely with educators and families to support student communication goals.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA as an SLP
  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with mild to moderate speech and language disabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with school staff and families
  • Ability to plan and deliver individualized therapy services in compliance with educational guidelines

Location: Palm Desert, California
Hours: 40 hours per week
Caseload: Mild to moderate disabilities; specific caseload to be determined
Work Setting: Onsite
