Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Indio, CA. This role requires a dedicated professional skilled in providing comprehensive speech and language services to support student communication development and educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Provide direct, therapeutic services to students across the K-12 spectrum.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid credential or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in a school environment with K-12 populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain detailed documentation.
