Overview

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical staff and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care.
Duties
- Provide exceptional patient service by greeting patients, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures by preparing necessary equipment and ensuring patient comfort.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and conducting basic laboratory tests.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic health record systems.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Uphold strict adherence to medical terminology and protocols to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to various specialties including dermatology, internal medicine, and geriatrics.
- Previous experience in a clinic or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is an asset.
