Location: Fresno, CA
Assignment Type: Contract
Shift: Based on facility schedule
Weekly Pay Estimate (Based on 36 hours):

  • Taxable Wages: $1,000/week
  • Nontaxable Stipend: $1,904/week
  • Total Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,904/week

Position Summary:
This position is ideal for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist seeking a contract role with strong compensation and opportunities to contribute to a growing team. Candidates should be reliable, motivated, and team-oriented, with a strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Schedule procedures and prepare patients appropriately.
  • Operate nuclear medicine cameras and related imaging equipment.
  • Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceutical materials.
  • Accurately calculate radioactive decay and patient study data.
  • Monitor and document calibration data to ensure instrument accuracy.
  • Adhere to radiation safety regulations during preparation, handling, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Maintain accurate records related to imaging procedures, supply inventory, and radiopharmaceutical usage.
  • Monitor and care for patients throughout the procedure, including IV line placement and injection.
  • Submit procedural charge documentation daily.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all equipment operations and remain up to date on technology used in the department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by a supervisor or physician.

Requirements:

  • Certification: ARRT (N), NMTCB, or ASCP
  • California State License
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Experience:
  • Required: New graduates accepted
  • Preferred: 1–3 years of clinical experience
