Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 20252026 school year in Palm Desert, CA, serving K-12 students. This contract position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week with a caseload focused on mild to moderate disabilities. The specific number of schools and caseload details will be determined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings and provide consultative services as needed
Qualifications:
- Current California SLP Endorsement required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Work Environment:
- Onsite work in Palm Desert, CA
- Contract role covering the entire school year
