Summary
- As a Market Retail Clerk, you play a vital role in creating delightful customer experiences! Prepare personalized orders and craft delicious smoothies while ensuring our bar stays tidy and inviting. Your commitment to food safety and sanitation will shine through as you expertly store products according to our guidelines. Help restock inventory and communicate with management about equipment needs or inventory updates. Your mission is to deliver outstanding service and cultivate a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Smoothie Bar: Prepares a range of beverage orders for customers while adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintains cleanliness and organization in designated work areas and helps keep the smoothie bar tidy. Restocks supplies at the smoothie bar as necessary.
- Cashier Operations: Follow cash handling and register policies. Ensure guests receive the correct change after each transaction. Keep copies of all receipts to balance the register at the end of your shift.
- Stocking, Merchandising & Inventory Control: Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, fronted, rotated, and maintained according to company and industry standards. Checking and removing expired or damaged products
- Packing and Handling: Harvest production packing involves urgent handling when needed, including visual inspections for quality and reporting any issues. Produce is sorted according to customer orders or standards, with damaged items removed for quality control. The sorted produce is then packed into designated containers, ensuring proper protection during transport, and labeled for accurate delivery.
- Events: Attend local farmers market, charity/special gatherings, parties, etc.
Requirements:
Qualifications/Education/Experience
- Must be 21+
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous customer service, food service or barista experience preferred.
- Previous cash handling experiences preferred.
- Must have Food Handler’s Card.
