Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled CVOR Technician to provide specialized nursing support in a dynamic surgical environment. This role involves assisting surgical teams in cardiovascular operating rooms by preparing equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain cardiovascular surgical instruments and supplies
- Assist in monitoring patient vital signs during procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff
- Ensure pliance with infection control standards and operating room protocols
- Document patient data and surgical activities accurately
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a CVOR Technician or in a similar nursing role within cardiovascular operating rooms
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical equipment and procedures
- Excellent munication and teamwork skills
- Ability to respond promptly and efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting
- Relevant nursing or technical certifications as required
