Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Palm Springs, FL (New Graduates Welcome!)

Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our pediatric care team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support children with speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist SLPs in conducting therapy sessions for children with speech, language, fluency, or communication disorders.

· Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by supervising SLPs.

· Collect and document client data, progress notes, and treatment records in compliance with clinic and state standards.

· Assist during speech and language assessments by preparing materials and documenting results.

· Apply appropriate behavior management techniques to keep children engaged in therapy.

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to support holistic patient care.

Qualifications

· Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.

· Active SLPA license/certification in the State of Florida (Required).

· Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

· Strong knowledge of speech and language development and therapy techniques.

· Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children.
