Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech)
Location: Rancho Mirage, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Shifts vary: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM depending on coverage)
Contract Type: W2
Pay Rate: $65–$70 per hour
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to support breast imaging services within an outpatient cancer care environment. The ideal professional will demonstrate strong technical skills in screening and diagnostic mammography, as well as the ability to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards
- Perform DEXA bone density scans as assigned
- Obtain and review relevant medical history prior to procedures
- Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process
- Document procedures accurately within EMR and PACS systems
- Maintain compliance with MQSA requirements and California state regulations
- Ensure exam rooms and imaging equipment remain clean and in proper working order
- Follow departmental timekeeping requirements
- Work across both main and satellite clinical locations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license with Radiography and Mammography authorizations
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience performing mammography screening exams

- Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-paced or stressful situations
- Proficiency in mammography and DEXA imaging technology
