Adjunct RN (OBGYN) Clinical Instructor
Join Success Education Colleges (SEC), a leader in allied health education for over 58 years! The Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing (MFSON) seeks a dedicated Adjunct RN with pediatric expertise to mentor future nurses in clinical settings.
Reporting to the Dean of Nursing, you'll be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating clinical instruction, integrating Watson’s Caring Theory and QSEN competencies.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing engaging clinical instruction and demonstrating best practices in pediatric nursing.
- Assessing student competency and guiding remediation.
- Conducting student conferences and evaluating performance.
- Contributing to curriculum development and recommending resources.
- Facilitating learning experiences and maintaining accurate records.
- Orienting students to clinical agencies and coordinating learning activities.
- Evaluating clinical site effectiveness.
- Participating in department and college activities.
- Representing MFSON professionally.
- Pursuing ongoing professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered California RN license.
- Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Nursing (or related doctoral degree).
- Three years of RN experience, with OBGYN focus.
