JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for delivering comfort, relaxation, and Happy Chic service in a world-class spa setting. To perform massages, body treatments and other duties as required by management in a courteous and professional manner. To up-sell and promote spa products, services, and specials to each guest. Other duties as required by spa management.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Guest Related Tasks:
- Have a upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
- Display a high level of professionalism without pretension.
- Deliver exceptional spa services for allocated time allotted.
- Conduct a thorough intake and assessment for each guest before beginning.
- Be able to execute on the LQA behavior standards outlined in our employee handbook.
- Be able to thoroughly explain all body treatment and benefits of them.
- Exhibit knowledge and the ability to follow all treatment protocols.
- Use proper draping procedures.
- Make additional product and service recommendations for the guests’ benefit.
- Stay informed of Estate events, VIP guests, groups, and internal information.
Treatment Room and Products:
- Treatment Room
- Stock treatment rooms with towels and linens at the beginning and end of each day
- Change all linens and clean stone pots as needed.
- Clean and sanitize all treatment rooms throughout shift and at the end of the day.
- Clean and disinfect implements and brushes as necessary between treatments.
- Restock each treatment room with necessary products before and after each treatment.
- Product Dispensary
- Refill all products during down time between treatments.
- Help wash, dry and fold laundry when appropriate.
- Report products that are low and need to be re-ordered.
- Be responsible for conservation and proper use of products.
- Fold and stock linens as needed.
Appointments:
- Maintain awareness of appointment cancellations, new bookings, and changes. Greet guest by sir names.
- Be ready to be of service, follow all LQA standards to completion.
- Escort guests to relaxation areas.
- Offer additional services recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- Minimum of 500 hours of massage education.
- Agreement in learning new treatments and protocols within the allotted time frame.
- Certified Massage Therapist or Licensed from CA Board of Massage.
- Must have a passion for the healing arts and be willing to learn new skills.
