Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Bilingual Optometric Tech to join their team. As a Bilingual Optometric Tech, you will be part of the patient care team supporting optometrists and enhancing the patient experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Bilingual Optometric Tech
Location: Palm Desert, CA
Pay Range: $23.50 per hour
What's the Job?
- Greeting patients, gathering medical history, and explaining procedures.
- Performing visual acuity tests, color vision tests, and other diagnostic screenings.
- Assisting optometrists during exams and administering eye drops or medications as directed.
- Fitting contact lenses and teaching patients how to care for them.
- Maintaining patient records and managing appointment schedules.

- Proficiency in operating ophthalmic equipment and performing diagnostic tests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information.
