Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and hard-working Cashier to join our team 12-20 hours per week! As a Cashier, you will ring up sales, take payments, and issue returns. This position will also be asked to set up new planograms and merchandise shelves. You will provide excellent customer service by ensuring all transactions run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.
Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a smile
• Work the register to ring up sales and complete transactions
• Collect payments by cash and credit card
• Issue refunds to customers
• Set up planograms and merchandise shelves
• Assists customers by providing information and resolving their complaints
• Maintain a solid knowledge of product inventory to assist customers with their selections
• Maintains clean and orderly checkout area

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Spanish & English speaking preferred
• Available for shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
• Previous merchandising experience preferred
• Willingness to work well in a team environment
• Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
