A healthcare system in Southern California is seeking an experienced Director of Medical Staff Services to lead a multi-site department through a time of transition and growth. This is a confidential search for a permanent, on-site leader who can provide structure, accountability, and a collaborative presence as two hospitals work through a merger.
What You’ll Do:

Lead medical staff operations across two facilities

Ensure compliance with all credentialing, privileging, and regulatory standards

Serve as the primary liaison between medical staff, hospital leadership, and support teams

Provide consistent oversight and hands-on leadership (not a remote or hybrid role)
What We’re Looking For:

Solid experience in medical staff services (hospital or system-level preferred)

Strong communication skills and a calm, team-first leadership style

Ability to lead during organizational change and bring people together

Certification (CPMSM/CPCS) strongly preferred but not required
