Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An advanced imaging professional with specialized Cath Lab expertise is sought for a contract opportunity based in Indio, CA. This position involves performing a range of cardiac catheterization procedures within a busy interventional radiology setting. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in complex cardiac imaging techniques and interventional skills, ensuring high-quality care for adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment
  • Proficient with right and left heart catheterization procedures, including coronary stent implantation, balloon angioplasty, thrombectomy, and atherectomy
  • Certified BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
  • Experience operating Philips imaging equipment and PACS systems
  • Strong skills in EKG interpretation and interventional procedures such as Impella insertion and Rotablader use
  • Ability to manage daily caseloads ranging from 4 to 20 patients
  • Familiarity with vascular and peripheral interventions, including venous access and abdominal/pelvic vascular studies
  • COVID-19 vaccination required with no exemptions

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures in a timely and safe manner
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists and radiologists to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control measures
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required: one night shift per week and one weekend shift per month, with coverage split among staff between weeknights and weekends

Schedule:

  • 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts (06:00 - 18:30)
