Job DescriptionJob Type: Full-Time; Onsite Availability: Weekends and holidays are a must. Open availability and flexibility desired Shift: 8:30-5:00 pm shift. However, shifts may vary depending on business needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Oversee appearance of the Spa and Treatment Rooms
· Process guest tickets for payment
· Supervise Spa Attendant and the cleanliness of the Spa
· Maintain therapist records including Certifications, Insurance and Business Licenses
· Keep track of inventory for spa products and order when necessary
· Supervise therapist’s schedules according to the needs of the business
Key Competencies
At least 18 years of age Spa Experience
Must be well versed in spa protocols and verbiage
Professional appearance and vocabulary Must be reliable and dependable
A self-starter who takes initiative in completing tasks
Ability to work effectively with other employees and guests
Ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to make decisions and problem solve
Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
Working Conditions
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to sit at a desk for an extended period of time, move and work throughout the spa and property, including walking up to 1 mile and climbing stairs.
Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment.
Education and/or Experience:
· Spa: 2+ years (required)
· Customer Service: 2+ years (required)
· Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
· High School Diploma
