We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals with experience in fields like psychology, education, social work, ABA, or any role working with children, such as babysitting or being a nanny. As a Behavior Technician, you'll work closely with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental conditions in their homes. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives. No prior experience in ABA is required, as we provide thorough training and ongoing support. Your role will involve helping children develop essential skills, including communication, social interaction, and daily living, while using proven techniques to address challenging behaviors such as hitting, biting, or kicking, which may affect their safety and independence.
We are currently hiring part-time Behavior Technicians for afternoon hours (3-8 pm, Monday through Friday), with flexible scheduling options available. Compensation ranges from $20 to $27 per hour, along with paid time off (PTO), sick leave, drive time, and mileage reimbursement. Additionally, we offer a performance-based incentive system to reward excellence and provide a clear path for career growth.

As part of our team, you'll gain access to a thorough 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program, designed as the first step toward earning your RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Successfully completing the certification process comes with a $2 per hour pay raise.
To qualify, applicants need a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Creativity, professionalism, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for the role are essential. Fluency in Spanish is a valuable asset, and those fluent in Spanish will receive an increase in pay during their initial offer.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Implementing evidence-based interventions to develop communication, social, and adaptive skills and address behavior excesses that may include: biting, kicking, hitting, etc.
- Using empathy and understanding to support clients in achieving their goals and work with a multidisciplinary team
- Teaching replacement behaviors that promote safety, independence, and skill acquisition
- Accurately collecting and documenting data to drive effective, individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborating closely with families to provide guidance and support in implementing ABA strategies in everyday situations.
