Position Summary:
LiveHappy, LLC is thrilled to announce the grand opening of our brand-new flagship retail location in Cathedral City! We’re building a passionate and knowledgeable team from the ground up—and we want you to be part of it. As a Budtender, you’ll be the face of the LiveHappy experience, helping to shape our customer-first culture and set the standard in California cannabis retail.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism

Guide customers through our product selection with expert knowledge and empathy

Educate guests on strain types, effects, consumption methods, and dosing

Keep current with our evolving product menu including flower, concentrates, edibles, and more

Operate the POS system and handle transactions with accuracy and integrity

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment

Follow all compliance regulations including ID verification and purchase limits

Be a brand ambassador by representing the LiveHappy mission and values

Assist with inventory restocking, labeling, and visual merchandising

Report customer feedback and any compliance concerns to store management
Qualifications:
-
Must be 21+ with valid government-issued ID
-
1+ year of retail or customer service experience (cannabis preferred)
-
Passionate about cannabis and eager to learn and grow in the industry

Friendly, reliable, and comfortable working with diverse customer needs
-
Quick thinker with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Experience with METRC or POS systems is a plus
-
Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements:

Able to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours)

Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs

Comfortable working in a high-traffic retail environment
