Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide critical speech-language pathology services in an educational setting. This contract position is based in Indio, CA, within a K-12 school environment, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of students and staff
Location:
Indio, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language intervention
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall student support
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
