A respected healthcare system in Southern California is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist to join its growing sleep medicine team. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in patients’ lives while working with a supportive, multidisciplinary care team in a modern and well-equipped facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for sleep studies and ensure their comfort and understanding of procedures.

• Perform and monitor polysomnographic recordings including EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, and respiratory parameters.

• Identify and document sleep stages and events such as respiratory, cardiac, limb movement, and arousal occurrences.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain data quality throughout the study.

• Score sleep studies according to AASM standards and assist in preparing reports for physician interpretation.

• Provide patient education regarding sleep hygiene and PAP therapy when indicated.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Polysomnographic Technology program or equivalent experience.

• RPSGT certification (or eligibility to obtain) preferred.

• Current BLS certification required.

• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and technical proficiency.
