Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off | Nights | 10-Hour Shifts

A reputable facility in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist for a night shift position on a 7-on / 7-off schedule. This is a 13-week contract with potential for temp-to-hire, ideal for pharmacists seeking a consistent schedule and the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure safe, effective drug use

• Monitor pharmacokinetics and adjust dosing as necessary

• Consult with physicians and nursing staff

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain pliance with hospital policies and protocols

• Utilize electronic systems to manage medication orders and inventory

Technology Used:

• Cerner (EMR)

• Omnicell (Automated Dispensing Cabinets)

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted California Pharmacist License

• Recent inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience required

• Strong clinical judgment, munication skills, and attention to detail

• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell preferred
