Experienced Optician Wanted – Join Our Busy Ophthalmology Practice!

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and experienced optician to join our dynamic ophthalmology team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients, has a passion for eyewear sales, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with frame and lens selection
• Accurately bill and process claims for VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, IEHP, and Medicare
• Work closely with optical reps to place and track orders
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records
• Travel between our two office locations as needed
• Use Compulink EHR for patient records and order management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an optician in a clinical or retail setting
• Strong knowledge of vision insurance billing (VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, IEHP, Medicare)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Comfortable using EHR systems, especially Compulink
