Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for several skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Palm Desert, CA. This position offers the chance to provide essential language and speech services within a dynamic educational setting, working with multiple school assignments. Ideal candidates will have expertise in pediatrics and school-based therapy, with strong skills in conducting evaluations, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and delivering both direct and indirect services.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP)
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License (CA SLP) or California Clear Teaching Credential (CA CTC)
- Experience working in pediatric healthcare or school environments, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to varying age groups, with specific grade levels to be confirmed closer to the school year
- Independent practitioner; no district-provided supervision available

Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
- Provide direct therapy services and indirect consultation to support student progress
- Collaborate with educational teams to support multidisciplinary approaches to student development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting
This role requires a commitment to a 37.5-hour workweek over the course of the entire school year 2025-2026. Candidates should be prepared to engage with diverse student populations across several school sites.
