Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists in Indio, CA, where professionals will contribute to the communication needs of students across multiple schools for the full semester. This role involves working with diverse age groups, focusing on providing exceptional speech and language services.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric settings
- Familiarity with school environments and IEP processes
- Ability to conduct evaluations and provide direct and indirect services
- California SLP license or California CTC credential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Indio, CA
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided
- Prepare and deliver presentations on speech and language development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
