SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Rental Sales Representative with a strong knowledge of heavy diesel equipment and an established book of business. This role focuses on canvassing an assigned geographic territory to identify new rental revenue opportunities, generate sales leads, and strengthen customer relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, well-versed in the industry, and capable of understanding the unique needs of customers within the territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Canvass assigned geographic areas to generate rental revenue and identify potential sales leads.

Visit job sites to assess new opportunities and connect with contractors to gather essential customer contact information.

Maintain and update a current call list and rental agreement list for effective follow-up on job sites.

Communicate qualified leads and relevant customer information to the appropriate Account Manager and Rental Manager.

Generate detailed reports for each customer interaction and accurately enter data into company systems.

Analyze customer needs, rental volume, and project requirements to determine the appropriate call frequency.

Stay informed about Quinn products and services, including features, applications, and competitive advantages.

Monitor and assess market competition, including rental rates, contract terms, and industry strengths and weaknesses.

Plan customer contacts and site visits strategically to maximize time and efficiency.

Support objectives for rental fleet time utilization and financial performance.

Ensure profitable equipment rentals measured by gross profit on contracts.

Consistently adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
QUALIFICATION

Strong knowledge of heavy diesel equipment and industry applications.

Proven experience in sales or rental operations with an existing book of business.

Familiarity with the assigned geographic territory and customer base.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a personable approach.

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting and follow-up.

Knowledge of competitive market conditions, pricing strategies, and customer needs.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office for data entry and report generation.

Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and adapt to varying work schedules.
