Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Soliant is seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist for a short-term PRN travel assignment in Rancho Mirage, California. This is a one-day coverage need on December 23rd, with the opportunity to train on site the day prior. You will work alongside a strong support team of four experienced pharmacy technicians and one driver. This is a great fit for a confident retail pharmacist who can step in and manage daily operations independently.

Assignment Details

• Term of assignment: December 23rd

• Shift: 1st

• Hours: 9:30am 5:30pm

• Setting: Retail

• You will be the sole pharmacist on duty

• Script volume: 175250 prescriptions per day

• Software: Pioneer Rx

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill and dispense medications as prescribed, verifying all patient allergies before processing

• Deliver excellent customer service and respond professionally to patient questions, concerns and requests

• Maintain proper accountability for all controlled substances, syringes and pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with regulations and organizational policy

Requirements

• Clear and active California Pharmacist license

• Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy experience in a retail environment

• Pioneer Rx experience preferred (not required)

• Ability to work confidently as the sole pharmacist with strong technical support

• Strong munication and patient service skills
