Job Summary: Under general supervision, operates dedicated and specialized mammography radiographic equipment; formulates/calculates techniques and positions patients to produce diagnostic images of human breast and associated tissue and related unusual changes for the use by physicians in making medical diagnoses. Within the established and/or recognized scope of practice, uses independent judgment in critiquing radiographic and mammographic images, and take additional views as necessary. Essential Responsibilities:

<li>Determines and documents nursing diagnosis and interventions to meet patient needs</li>
<li>Develops an individualized plan of care using measurable goals with time frames for completion</li>
<li>Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the patient's physician, following the plan of care.</li>
<li>Supervises LVNs and CHHAs according to agency supervisory policies and procedures</li>
<li>Provides patient and family education regarding medication management, compliance and measures to prevent disease process exacerbation</li>
<li>Coordinates care with all care providers and ordering physician</li>
<li>Completes and submits clinical notes accurately and timely</li>
<li>Reports to physician and nursing supervisor any changes in patient condition and updates the plan of care as necessary</li>
<li>Ensures the patient has all appropriate medications and DME required to provide safe and effective patient care</li>
<li>Participates in QAPI programs and initiatives</li>
<li>Participates in professional development and skills training as required or needed</li>
<li>Attends monthly in-services</li>
<li>Follows all agency policies and procedures, including in Infection Control, Emergency management, medication management, emergency management, pain management and overall patient care policies and procedures</li>
<li>Complies with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements in accordance with federal, state and organizational policies</li>

Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Licensed Registered Nurse authorized to practice professional nursing in the state</li>
<li>Holds and maintains current CPR certification</li>
<li>Must have a valid and active drivers license</li>
<li>Must have car insurance</li>
<li>Liability insurance is optional</li>
<li>Must have an automobile in good working condition</li>
<li>Must have at least one year of experience as a professional nurse, preferably in home health care, hospice or public health</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in nursing is optional</li>
<li>Must have great interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>Must be proficient in the use of computers for computerized clinical documentation</li>
<li>Must be capable of autonomous work with basic safety knowledge</li>

Pay Range: $54-83/hour plus $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance

Job Summary:
Under general supervision of a pathologist, independently perform or assist in accessioning, dissection, description, and histologic sampling of a full range of surgical specimens.
Skill Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot and maintain the equipment</li>
<li>Dexterity and good eye-hand coordination are required to collect and prepare specimens</li>
<li>Lab safety and infection prevention is of paramount importance</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of gross room pathology procedures, protocols, and techniques</li>
<li>Knowledge of quality standards and requirements for pathology specimen photographs</li>
<li>Perform and/or assist pathologists in the accessioning, dissection, description, and histologic sampling of a full range of anatomic specimens</li>
<li>Perform frozen sections and other intraoperative consultations, within established protocol and procedural parameters</li>
<li>Participate in accessioning and labeling specimens, storing and disposing specimens, and maintaining reagents and equipment</li>
</ul>
Education, Certification, &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>Masters degree from a NAACLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant program, preferred but not a must</li>
<li>PA (ASCP) certification, required</li>
<li>Two + years of recent experience as a certified PA </li>
</ul>
 
 
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
