Job Description

<li>We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to repair and maintain components used for aircraft airframes and powerplants. The role involves inspecting aircraft engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories like brakes, valves, pumps, and air-conditioning systems. You will maintain meticulous records related to maintenance performed on the aircraft and may also repair sheet metal or composite surfaces. Mechanics will work closely with pilots to identify and fix faulty equipment based on their descriptions.</li>

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.</li>
<li>Conduct all necessary airframe and power plant repairs and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements.</li>
<li>Remove and disassemble defective parts, assemble and install replacement parts, and test aircraft systems.</li>
<li>Operate all power tools and equipment necessary for job assignments.</li>
<li>Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records.</li>
<li>Record time worked accurately on work orders.</li>
<li>Interpret technical manuals and drawings.</li>
<li>Tow and park aircraft.</li>
<li>Perform additional aircraft maintenance work as required.</li>

This training consists of basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, examination of cargo/bags/merchandise, physical fitness, etc. Candidates assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program, which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.
