Lifekind Health is seeking a Charge Nurse RN in our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) to play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while overseeing nursing staff and operations. This position is responsible for coordinating patient flow, managing clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The Charge Nurse will also serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team, advocating for patient needs and facilitating effective communication. Additionally, this role involves mentoring and training new nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Ultimately, the Charge Nurse RN is essential in maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment in the ASC.

Responsibilities:

You Will:

<li>Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.</li>
<li>Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.</li>
<li>Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.</li>
<li>Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.</li>

You Will:

<li>Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).</li>
<li>Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).</li>
<li>Be provided hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.</li>
<li>Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam </li>
<li>Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.</li>
<li>Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.</li>
<li>Safeguards any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.</li>
