Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience managing a licensed cannabis dispensary

Deep knowledge of California cannabis regulations (BCC/DFPI/CDPH) and METRC

Proven leadership and team development skills in a retail setting

<li>
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities
</li>
<li>
Proficiency in POS systems (Treez, Flowhub, etc.) and Microsoft Office
</li>
<li>
Strong business acumen with a focus on KPIs, inventory accuracy, and revenue growth
</li>
<li>
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
</li>
<li>
Must be 21+ and able to pass all background and regulatory checks
</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience opening a new dispensary or launching new store locations

Job Description
Turner's Outdoorsman are seeking Manager Trainees to join the team for potential openings. The Turner’s Outdoorsman Manager Trainee assists the Store Manager as the business and cultural leader of the store team, responsible for achieving sales goals, customer satisfaction, and profitability growth as well as understanding, practicing, and being a strong proponent of the Turner’s brand and the company culture. The Manager In Training is a retail professional role model in attitude and appearance skilled in the art of communication and customer service, who possesses the ability to teach these skills to the team and ultimately lead by example.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
<ul>
<li>Provides excellent customer service and displays exceptional salesmanship</li>
<li>Ensures customers enjoy a full service and high value shopping experience</li>
<li>Receives stock accurately and displays merchandise</li>
<li>Operates the Hunting and Tackle Departments along with other store operations</li>
<li>Makes daily assignments and provides supervision of store employees on a daily basis</li>
<li>Releases customer firearms</li>
<li>Sources, places and follows up on orders</li>
<li>Responsible for accuracy in audits, match ups, and check in</li>
<li>Supervises paperwork ensuring accuracy</li>
<li>Ability to work in teams and with various levels of management and personnel</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned which includes but not limited to covering employee shifts, breaks and/or lunches in other departments as needed</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>High school graduate (or GED) required, college graduate or some college preferred</li>
<li>Fluent in English</li>
<li>Must have at possess sales experience in a leading role</li>
<li>Knowledge about Hunting, Fishing, or Shooting sports is preferred</li>
<li>Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment</li>
<li>Must be 18 years or older</li>
<li>Customer service experience required</li>
<li>Certificate of Eligibility Required</li>
<li>Must be able to multi-task and work in a face paced environment</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Exudes patience, adaptability, takes initiative</li>
<li>Works with integrity, a high level of energy and has a high tolerance of stress</li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>Responsible for loading/unloading trucks, lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance</li>
<li>Must be able to use both hands when handling a firearm</li>
<li>Must be able to use a computer proficiently and grasp instruction to new software programs</li>
<li>Must be able to stand, sit, bend and lift throughout the course of a scheduled shift</li>
</ul>
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>Occasional travel is required (approximately 15% of the time-participating in events, training seminars, corporate meetings or opening new store locations)</li>
</ul>
HOURS
<ul>
<li>Hours-at least 45 hours per week are required, varied</li>
<li>Requests for time off may or may not be granted during black-out periods</li>
</ul>
