The Lead Intake Coordinator is responsible for managing and implementing systems, particularly inquiry/intake calls, patient screenings, admissions, and contacts with utilization reviewers and case managers. They work with the admissions and facility staff to ensure exceptional patient and community satisfaction and lead intake coordinators in a variety of tasks.

Essential Functions:

<li>Monitors SalesForce on a consistent basis to check for pending admissions and converts leads to admits.</li>
<li>Creates potential admission files in KIPU and uploads VOB, Pre-Admission Screening, demographic information, insurance information, and marketer/referral information.</li>
<li>Assists in obtaining necessary consents, identifications, and financial documents needed to admit patients.</li>
<li>Updates the whiteboard to include travel information, projected bed, patient description, and phone number.</li>
<li>Assists with intakes and coordinates travel with BHT supervisors, as needed.</li>
<li>Participates in all staff meetings and is responsible for obtaining information if not in attendance.</li>

<li>New Patient exams/evaluations (focused history, physical exam, review pertinent records/imaging)</li>
<li>Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation</li>
<li>Take and review Diagnostic digital X-rays</li>
<li>Patient education as to findings, care plan options, wellness advice, therapies, and modalities</li>
<li>Chiropractic Care- Adjusting, Diversified, Drop table, activator, and Physiotherapy (spinal decompression, class IV laser, shockwave, infra-red-light therapy, EMS)</li>
<li>Make follow up calls to new and existing patients</li>
<li>Documentation- progress notes</li>
<li>Collaboration with the other chiropractor and staff for comprehensive care</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic Program</li>
<li>Chiropractic license in CA</li>
</ul>
Schedule:
<ul>
<li>Full time (Mon-Fri) No nights or weekends!</li>
</ul>
Salary:

<li>$95k to 105k + bonuses</li>

The professional nurse demonstrates knowledge of EKG monitoring and treatment of hypotension and dysrhythmias. &nbsp;The professional nurse demonstrates knowledge of commonly used medications and possesses skill in calculating medications and fluid dosages. &nbsp;The professional nurse follows the hospital chest pain protocol. &nbsp;The professional nurse demonstrates knowledge of physiologic changes and common complications associated with specific disease states.
