Summary:
Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on all heating, ventilating, air purifying systems, and air conditioning systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- All duties of an A/C Technician I and II, as well as the following additional duties.
- May lead or direct the work of others.
- Will verify that work performed by others is done properly and completed as requested by management.
- Will monitor the daily activity reports and work orders for spare parts and equipment required for repairs and daily preventative maintenance,
- Keep an accurate and sufficient supply of maintenance parts on hand.
- Will submit part request lists with appropriate documentation to the Administrative Assistant for the creation of purchase orders.
- Train others in proper procedures for maintaining HVAC equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has supervisory responsibilities, which include leading and directing a work crew in daily work assignments.

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Five or more years experience in HVAC installations or repair, and/or a minimum of one year with Fantasy Springs Resort Casino as A/C Technician II.
- Universal Refrigerant Certification required.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high altitudes, precarious places, extreme heat/cold, and risk of electrical shock. Employees working in the Casino or Bowling Center may be exposed to second-hand smoke and moderate levels of noise
