Ensure all areas of breakfast meets the highest standards for cleanliness, product quality, and guest service for the hotel.

- Maintains all areas of breakfast including but not limited to back pantry area, breakfast seating area, breakfast area, and all breakfast storage areas
- Ensures equipment is in working order, timely reporting any issues
- Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
- Maintains Food Quality by ensuring food products are labeled and used correctly
- Check the public restrooms cleanliness by attending to them before the guest arrive
- Ensure breakfast area is properly set up, presentable and organized prior to breakfast serving times
- Upkeep of breakfast area ensuring all food items are available and restocked as needed
- Interact with the guest ensuring they are satisfied. Greet guests with: “Good Morning How was your stay with us?”
- Reset breakfast area at closing time, including tables, chairs, counters, pantry, utensils, coffee pots, etc.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop all breakfast areas
- Ensure enough supplies are available the following day. Report orders to management
- Ensure hot water and coffee is replenished for the day. We must provide 24-hour coffee and tea
- Performs other duties as assigned by management

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee must Lift, move and/or carry up to 35 pounds. Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position regularly requires extended hours as business dictates, must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position. Must have reliable transportation to work.
Required Experience
Experience in culinary or restaurant preferred but not required
Preferred Education
High school diploma or GED diploma preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Food Handlers Card preferred but may be acquired during the first month of employment.
