Robert Half is actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant / Consultant for a Hospitality company. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be supporting the month end close, revenue recognition, running reports (AR aging, AP aging, Fixed assets) and processing Payroll. This role will be onsite in Palm Springs, CA.
Technical Skills:
- Manage one staff member, more over see their work
- Month end close support
- Payroll processing, AP aging review, AR aging and Fixed assets review
- Strong Excel skills
• Proven experience in month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation processes, including bank accounts, prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets.
• Proficiency in accounts receivable aging and fixed asset review.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles and practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
