We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with furniture retail experience who excels at guiding customers through informed, confident purchase decisions. This role is ideal for someone who combines a low-pressure, consultative approach with disciplined, consistent follow-up and takes pride in being a trusted subject-matter expert.
You will represent our premium outdoor furniture brands in one of our Nevada showrooms and will own the customer experience from initial conversation through purchase and post-sale follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide customers through the buying process using an educational, consultative approach.
- Take ownership of each customer interaction from discovery through decision, follow-up and completion.
- Uncover customer needs related to space, design, lifestyle and budget, then recommend tailored solutions.
- Educate customers on product features, materials, construction, warranties, care and lead times.
- Execute consistent, timely follow-up with customers via phone, email and in person to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain organized customer notes and follow-up schedules to ensure no opportunities are missed.
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Develop and maintain expert-level product knowledge across our outdoor furniture collections.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals through service-driven selling.
- Accurately process transactions using POS systems and maintain cash-handling accuracy.
- Support showroom presentation, merchandising, and promotional displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are properly stocked and presented.

Qualifications
- Proven furniture retail sales experience with measurable results.
- Demonstrated ability to guide customers through longer, considered purchase decisions.
- Strong consultative selling skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent communication skills; professional, knowledgeable, and approachable.
- Highly disciplined follow-up habits and strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and accountable, with pride in delivering a complete customer experience.
- Ability to quickly learn product details and explain them clearly to customers.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a showroom environment.
- Interior or exterior design knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Strong overall computer literacy.
Additional Information
Prior outdoor furniture sales experience is preferred; comprehensive product training will be provided. This position includes a probationary period to ensure a strong mutual fit.
