The position requires excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, along with the ability to support the F&B experience at PSSC. This is a full-time position required to work at the property. This position requires non-traditional working hours which includes working nights and weekends and holidays.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Busser/Runner to join our team. As a Busser/Runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficient functioning of our establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting servers by clearing and resetting tables, delivering food and beverages to guests, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The ideal candidate should have the open willingness to assist in all capacities as necessary, excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities for Busser/Runner:
1. Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Assist in presenting menus and providing information about the dishes and beverages offered.
3. Support servers by efficiently clearing and resetting tables for new guests.
4. Deliver food and beverages promptly from the kitchen or bar to guests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
5. Check orders for accuracy and completeness before delivering them to the customers.
6. Assist with responding to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints as directed by servers.
7. Help upsell additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks, by communicating specials to guests.
8. Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages as directed, following established recipes and guidelines.
9. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
10. Set up tables and ensure they are properly arranged with necessary condiments and utensils.
11. Collaborate with other team members, such as hosts/hostesses and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
12. Assist with the processing of customer payments as needed, following the direction of servers.
13. Follow all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
14. Assist in restocking supplies and notify management when items are running low.
15. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required to enhance job knowledge and performance.
Qualifications and Skills: 1. Proven experience as a Busser/Runner or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
3. Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
5. Basic math skills for accurately processing payments and making change.
6. Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including an understanding of ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
7. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business.
9. Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays or objects for extended periods.
10. A professional appearance and demeanor, with attention to personal hygiene and grooming standards.
