Purpose A dishwasher is responsibility of cleaning all the dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies for a restaurant. Must keep the dish area and dish machine in clean, working order and may be responsible for stocking the establishment with clean supplies for customers,
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Clean garbage cans with water
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Other task as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience
High School Diploma
1 to 2 years of Kitchen experience
Skills & Ability
Read, write and speak English and Spanish
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
Ability to lift 30 pounds to 50 pounds
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
