Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Mix and garnish drinks according to recipes or customer requests
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies and ingredients
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Experience
-Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions
- Strong sales skills to upsell and promote drink specials or menu items
- Familiarity with banquet or event bartending is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with diverse clientele
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and ability to handle food service duties if required
