Job Title: Food Runner / Busser
Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ability to read micros tickets, understand temperatures, Carry an oval tray, keep station well stocked with condiments and utensils.
- Scrapes food from dirty dishes and stacks properly for dishwasher and separates glassware.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant including cleaning inside and outside of restaurant, sweeping the restaurant, cleaning windows, cleaning filters, clearing and wiping down tables.*
- Sets up tables for large parties.
- Cleans/Sweep floor before releasing a table as clean and ready to go.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.*
- Take back all empty pitchers of water/tea.
- Wipe down table tents.
- Sets up tables for customers, close down restaurant at end of shift. (flipping all chairs and removing table settings)
- Change sanitation water every two hours.
- Checks tables and wipes down chairs.*
- Checks salt and pepper shakers.*
- Changes light bulbs if necessary.
