We are looking for an energetic, friendly, responsible, and reliable Ophthalmic Technician who enjoys a challenging and busy Ophthalmology practice. You should be able to provide excellent customer service, be self-motivated, task-oriented, caring, professional, reliable, detailed, and able to multitask.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Conduct patient work-ups, including history taking and documentation of the patient's chief complaint.
- Review of systems and all pertinent ocular findings.
- Perform testing including VA measurements, topography, lensometry, auto-refraction, OCT, retinal photography, and Humphrey Visual Field testing.
- Must be computer literate and be able to enter data into EMRs.
- Fluency in typing/proficiency with computers.
- Cleaning instruments using standard sterile processes.
- Cleaning, stocking inventory, opening/closing exam rooms.
- Ability to multitask & work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage tasks involving a high level of detail & excellent Written/Verbal Communication Skills.
- Professionalism and common courtesy at all times.
- Ability to work well in a strong team setting.
- Other administrative tasks as needed
Previous experience as an ophthalmic technician is preferred but not required.

Salary is commensurate with skill level and experience.
