Patient Safety Coordinator Full Time Days

Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level 2 trauma facility with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department.  Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.

Position Summary:

1. The Patient Safety Coordinator (PSC) works under the direction of the Patient Safety Officer (PSO) to support the facility-wide patient safety program.
2. This individual works closely with the Patient Safety Officer to ensure all events are appropriately addressed.
3. Individual will participate in the Patient Safety Program and assist with investigating patient safety issues within the organization.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday. 40 hours. Exempt.

Shift: 8 hours. Days.
