General Summary
The Maintenance Technician / Lead is responsible for performing vital functions of the operation in a manner that is economically successful, strategically oriented, technically innovative, and safely executed. This individual will be responsible for all Mid entry-level maintenance under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager and/or general facilities maintenance technician/s.

- Competent in the use of test equipment including various test meters and hand tools
- General knowledge of hardware
- Ability to communicate with leads to resolve maintenance issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on, equipment, including cleaning and lubrication motors
- Visually inspect tools, equipment and machines.
- Carry equipment necessary to complete duties
- Identify, locate and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains)
- Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work
- Perform repairs on Electrical Systems/ install MC cable and work in electrical PNL'S
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Experience in the cannabis industry preferred
- Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- General knowledge of occupational safety and health standards in the workplace
- Either completed general maintenance course or has the ability to be trained
- Display knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the following categories: AC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls and/or general building
- Must be at least 21 years of age

Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry items necessary for repairs, inventory restock and general maintenance
- Ability to carry boxes, products, tools and other necessary items
- Ability to regularly perform shop maintenance items: repair, diagnose, sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, maintain all areas of business including back stockroom
- Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50lbs without assistance and heavier lifting with assistance
- Comfortable climbing ladders
- Work in warehouse environments and outdoors ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold and/or wind.
- This job role could require exposure to cannabis products which could exist in the forms of plant, oil, vegetative matter, pollen, vapor or smoke
Expected hours of work
- This is a full-time position
- Weekend and holidays are expected to be worked as needed
- Typical work days and hours are between Monday through Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 pm
- Occasional overnight shifts may be required
- Schedules are subject to change
- On Call
